The concept the team delivered was exciting as it was so different but really represented who I am and what my business is about. The execution of the shoot was impeccable. There were helicopters flying next to planes at low heights and coordinating this safely was impressive to say the least. One chance to get the shot and a whole heap of moving parts and plenty to go wrong but it was perfect.

Ashwater Films is a Sydney / Coffs Harbour based video production company that creates bespoke, high end video content for clients looking for a more personal touch.

Indigenous filmmaker Ash Gibb founded the company in 2020 with the purpose of driving social and environmental change, using it as a platform to celebrate the diversity of Australia, especially our incredibly rich Indigenous culture and history.

Armed with a creative eye and a background in social work, Ash’s career has seen him work with world-leading production companies on blue chip, large scale film productions that have hit the screens in Australia and around the globe.

As a Wiradjuri man Ash’s passion lies in Indigenous stories and social and environmental impact and fuses this passion with expertise in the creation of commercial video content.

Ash’s background in business management, social work and film production is a rare combination that makes Ashwater Films what it is. Ash simply wears his heart on his sleeve and is in the business for the right reasons.
